Resilient wall tie for multi-residential timber framed construction. The SB06 acoustic wall ties are suitable for stud walls that require a resilient mount to attach the walls structurally yet maintain acoustic and impact isolation.
The SB06 achieves discontinuous construction, is suitable for metal or timber studs and is used to reduce mid-span deflection.

Features • Pre punched 5mm holes for two nails or two screws. • Pre punched 6.5mm holes for two masonry anchors. • Minimum separation between wall leaves: 22mm. • Maximum separation between wall leaves: 115mm. • Maximum lateral load: 0.25kN. • Stiffness: 0.7 kN/mm (linear) up to 0.16 kN. • Maximum deflection of resilient material: 2.3mm. Installation • Generally at 600mm centres horizontally. • At each stud when installed mid-span.
